Does anybody know the process of getting custom license plates?

just pay the extra dough to driver services, IL was $75 i think, and fill out the form to say what you want on the plate and you're done!

like ryan "2coupes" said...u need to pay the extra bucks to ur local DMV to get a vanity plate

www.dmv.ca.gov does it. It costs a lot, and you have to do a write up telling why you want this plate made, what each letter/symbol means, and all this other BS. Not to mention that it costs an annual fee on top of registration every year. But I have thought of it, and prolly when Im done with the K20 this month, Im gonna get a custom one. Im thinking of "K20EM1" or "FASTEM1" or even "SIC EM1"

Damn, what about one thats for your state, like the 7 digit kind that say BOOSTED etc.
