on this car so far, most money i have spent has got to be in the motor. i only gave a few hundred bucks for the car. so maybe around 4k or so. i dunno. i'd have to go back & recap. with all the cars i have been through, i also could have just bought a beemer. (i still want one)

Gosh, I don't even want to think about how much I've put into all my cars...it makes me wonder why I didn't just go buy something really nice and expensive...My ferio was the money pit. I had over 8K in the motor alone, not to mention the paint and all the wheels I went through. Now my girl wonders why she doesn't have a ring yet...but I'm working on it.

First car, I probably spent about $5,000 or so on it, mostly wheels/tires/suspension. It only had I/H/E and the rest I made myself so it wasn't costly (if you don't count man hours).

Second car, I think I spent about $15,000-20,000 on it, and $12,500 for it when I bought it.

Third car I never really got started on, only small things on the exterior and suspension, so maybe $2000 only? I was about to buy some RnRs and put a motor in it when I crashed it, so I'm sure it would've hit $10,000 easily soon thereafter had I not.

This car, I think I spent about $7,500 on it the first day I got it, and not a penny since. Amazing how little you get for your money when buying OEM stuff, but its worth every penny to me and I'm glad I did. :japanflag:

digitalHorizon: I've seen your car posed mostly on jdmc, and doesn't look like it needs much more than those mods. One of my fav's and one of the cleanest cars I've seen.

Like most, I don't add up what I've spent. I'm super anal w/ parts and haven't really bought more than a few things I regret over the years. I don't mind paying top dollar for quality things and paying to have things as close to perfect as possible. It's even harder on a daily driven car to maintain and keep things nice. I'm sure I'm pushing about $6k in mods and still have the y8 runnin strong and no swap in the near future. I know once that bug hits me, it'll be a lot worse.

Too much to say. Espesially since I pay a lot more shipping costs all the way here.
In addition, cars are so expencive here it will make you sick.

I bought my 94 EJ2 in 2002, and it costed more than $18.000.
Since then I have spent more than that in parts (done almost everything myself, so mostly parts).
I'd say the Civic has costed me more than $40.000 in total, and that's really absurd.
Had I been an American, I could have had a really sick ride for that kind of money.

So, I guess I should get a sponsor soon. :(
