email notification

I have this option turned off and have gone back and saved it many times and my email is still being filled with notices from the site and it's blocking emails from my school.. can someone tell me how to fix this asap?

The reply notifications you get in your e-mail, click on the link thats in the e-mail to unsubscribe to the topic, when the window opens up scroll to the bottom and click on "stop watching" or "unsubscribe", I cant remember which it says.

I did the same thing as you, and kept getting e-mails. This is what I had to do

i believe the site is set up by default to send out e-mails, so if you reply to any threads before you change the settings, you'll probably have to manually adjust those threads like Skunk2JDMEJ1 stated above. the settings in the UserCP will only affect new threads you post in, i believe.

Yeah you're right, I had to go back and manually unsubscribe to the threads I posted in up until the time I set the e-mail notification to none.
