few parts really funny. if you have never seen the original, you probably wouldn't like it that much. i think the hideous french accents made it funny but also annoying. & only one guy in the movie was a real french actor & he didn't say very much.(the guy from mission impossible). oh, also the scene in the studio made me bust a gut..("did you say zis room es zoundproof?") i'd probably rent it to watch again, but not buy.

i went and saw it in the theater and thought it was great. they do a good job bringing in some of the running jokes from the original movies, but also come up with some great new stuff (aka the disguises for the palace at the end :D)

steve martin did a good job picking up the role, plus i also saw that he co-wrote the script, so i give him props for that.

definitely one to check out for a good laugh.
