anybody knows who makes a big brake kit for front and rear for a 99 coupe? i would like to use one brand for both the front and rear. first thing i thought of was brembo or wilwood. if somebody has a better brand then let me know otherwise anybody know where to buy the kits? i think im gonna buy a 99 coupe, is there any other kind of brake work that would need to be done with the b18c type-r swap? i know on my 77 early bronco when i did the disc brake conversions i had to change the porpotional vavle from disc/disc. dont know if you have to do that on these. thanks. -kris

try AP Racing... http://www.apracing.com/car/index.htm

I'm not sure about the credibility on them though...
Mod slap me if I'm stupid. lol

Edit: Also, you may want to consider changing your master cylinder, but that might not even be necessary.

Mugen Active Gate Brake System:

you definitely should change your proportioning valve to one from an Si if you go with disc brakes. i've got a 97 EX and put Si rear discs on my car, along with the proportioning valve.

aem makes a big brake kit, and also changing your proportioning valve isn't necessary. the ones from 96-00 civics are the same part number as the Si one.but, feel free to do so if you feel it is necessary, there is alot of conflict on this topic from alot of people. i know a parts guy and he confirmed it for me, they are the same part. upgrading your master cylinder would be a good idea if you are gonna go with some type of big brake system. go for a itr one....1" master cylinder. good luck and let us know what you decide.
