depends on how many miles and stuff...usually get an automatic cuz the 5 speeds are driven to death. plus the trannys no use since its cable n e ways. i got a b18a1 sitting around but i dont think its worth puttin in the car...

for $100 it's more than worth it. Depending on the condition of the engine but still, that's really cheap. B18A1's are good engines, they're very responsive and have great low-end. I have a DA and it was great:TU:.

i'm throwing a B18B1 with cable tranny into my coupe this winter. if you can get it for $100 that's a steal. but remember that there will be more than just that $100 to get the motor into your car.... ;)

B18B FTW!

the motor i'm picking up has PR3 (B16) slugs inside which bump compression up to 10.8:1

too bad your LS tranny sucks with them eheheh... now invest in a GSR or B16 trans and you will love your LS

okay.. i'm really looking for a way to get a new engine in my car.. what would be the quickest, easiest B swap, for a 92-95 coupe?

no mount kits needed?

u may need some aftermarket mounts unless u can find some stock integra mounts that would help drop in the b series motor in a lot easier but for 100 bucks for a b18a, not a bad deal, maybe build it up for a ls-v

when going into a "92-95" civic you can use stock integra everything...i would recomment to get a new driver side mount because those tend to break and leak out a nasty fluid.... stock axels, shiftlinkage and even wiring harness will work... INTEGRA STUFF THAT IS..not your civic stuff... you can go with aftermarket mounts to have a stiffer motor but its not needed....

depends on how u have to spend

b16a full swap goes for around 2200.....all u would need to buy after that to drop it in is a gsr axles....gsr radiator hoses...and that should be it....not much money to spend after u get the motor and tranny and everything

but a b18a1 for $100 is'nt bad at all

c if u can pick up or find a hydro tranny. the 92-95 civics have hydro trannies. there are lines that run from the clutch master cylinder, along the firewwall and then onto the clutch slave cylinder on the tranny. i personally wouldnt change all that to a cable. id just go find me a b series hydro tranny and mate it to the a1 head and block

ugh, i'm trying to find the cheapest way to get my EJ up and running, again... i have a guy who'll bring a low mileage D15B, swap it in, wire it up, and everything, for under a grand... i don't know what to do... sigh.

a 100 for a b18a motor thats cheap here I could sell one for an easy 600. B18a is good all you need is exhaust, intake, and 4-1 headers and you could take out gsrs and b16s. For the cable wise either find a hydro trans or if i not mistaken hasport sells the kit to switch to cable.
