yes, the jdm civic coupes were made in the US and exported to Japan, they were made specifically for the Japan market...they had many options that we don't have here

So we spend hundeds of dollars to buy parts made in the US, then sent to be used in Japan, just to be bought right back here and put on our coupe?? (Scratches head) Doesn't that make them USDM parts? I mean I was "made" here, but if I go for duty for 2 years in Japan and then come back that doesn't make me JDM either? OR DOES IT?!?!?!?!?!?
"Liveagent needs to talk to the detailer and get orders changed......."

never a JDM coupe... just the hatch and the fodo... but the all the parts from the hatch will fit the coupe..
There are JDM COUPES they are just built in the states and shipped to Japan they still have all the parts the Hatches and the Ferio's have but they are just made here

i was talking about the 92-95 coupes.. they were made here and shipped there.. so technically they are USDM civics with the hatch dash and motor..

DA: The EG6 is basically the hatchback version of this car in Japan. In Japan, EG Civic coupes are rare. They were manufactured in the U.S. only, so if you were in Japan and wanted a coupe, you'd have to get it sent from the U.S. Similarly, American EJ1 chassis owners have to get JDM parts designed for the hatchback, which makes it a little harder, too, because only the front end is a direct fit.

...........
NO ONE is arguing that they were made here... They were made here and shipped to Japan with rhd firewalls and all the options installed here then shipped over to Japn...
I dont get what your after you said you wanted proof and it was provided hell I even said they were made here and shipped there from the get go, So how are we wrong and what is the problem?

You really are gonna quote a magazine article that some one could have made a mistake? They were offered in Japan but only on a special order basis to see if the market would take off there like in the states. There are tons of JDM Coupes sites in Japan Hell EJ1Riders is always linking this site to there's

I don't understand the beef here. How hard is this to understand.
1.yes they were built here.
2.yes they were sold over there.(In the Japanese Domestic Market)
3.Parts for EG hatches and sedans are obviously more plentiful so most JDM parts come from them.

what exactly are you looking for... If you search you wont find an actual EK from japan.. You will find some usdm jdm..
You gotta look at Spoon sports website, Advan... Use their links to define your search rather than yahoo or google.
please understand these were made Japanese spec but werent made in Japan but shipped there and a limited production... i saw very few of them while i was there and they were all 92-95 models...
chassic codes for them are

coupes were made in the USA for japan, making them JDM (Japanese Domestic Market), meaning that they were marketed directly for the Japanese
