Anyone here use TEIN S-tech springs??

garret (g-rat) has S-tech's on his EJ1 coupe. hopefully he'll see this thread. he's using them with Tokico Illumina's and loves the setup. :TU:

the shogun is correct.......i have had them for about 2 months now and i really like them...although i think the spring rate could be a little bit stiffer though...just depends on what u are gonna be doing with the car....i say i would like a stiffer.... spring rate cause i touge alot so i just noticed that it would be a little better if they were a more stiff

are u gonna be putting them on stock shocks or after market cause i have only rode with them on tokico illumina's......but with that combo the ride is very very smooth even at the stiffes setting on the illumina's

i have a friend that has them on his SRT4 and he loves them, i know of a guy who has them on a honda with stock shocks, he highly recommends getting a nice set of AGX's or Tokicos!

with praise like that i think more and more about just getting a set of S-Tech's and AGX's or Illumina's instead blowing over a grand on coilovers....

i rock Ground control coilovers (made byEIbach) with AGX's all over, i LOVE the setup, the coils are adjustable and so are the AGX's, and wont cost you a grand!

yeah, i just think that if i'm going to get coilovers i'd rather get full coilovers and not the slip-on type you pair up with shocks. idk, just a preference i have i guess, lol.

but then again, i don't think i would truly adjust the height of my car that much and the s-tech's seem to have a nice drop with good handling. i just don't want the car to sit goofy like i am right now with pro-kit springs and stock shocks where the front end is higher than the rear. :TD:

i got tein Stechs i dont really like them i got 99 ek ones cause they give more of a drop and nothing that shit looked like a 4x4 so i cut them cause i really didnt care plus i get them for 120$ next to my house my old car i had a 240 it looked beutiful on s techs. now the ride quality is apperantly stiffer but its doesnt bounce or anything i got them on gsr shocks i gotta get some real commponents if im going to scca this year like d2 coilovers or something like that yooooo tulsa u gotta drop that thing i was a little lower then that and it still looked super high cut them or get some other springs that make the car lower thats my opinion.....

i have them. and i too live in a pothole town. they ride very nice. i have a friend with skunk2's and his is trash riding compared to what the tein springs feel like.

i dont now every one has there opinion my friend has skunk2 springs on his em1 and it rides just as well as my car and i got cut Stechs
