Naw, honestly work never sucks. Its frustrating because of the scope of the work, not because I don't enjoy it. Seriously, if you knew what I was doing, there's no way I could ever not like it. But, the stress involved in doing it and the risks at stake make my head hurt sometimes. Hence, why I turn to photography to calm the nerves and relax when I leave here. It brings balance to this young Skywalker.

i had to work today, it sucked, because i didn't know i had to work. I work for my friend doing roofing and he didn't call me to tell me we were working today so I was under the impression i wasn't. So i'm just chillin', it's like 9:30 i get a call from my other friend who works with me saying he needs me to come to the job and blah blah blah. so i went from looking forward to a nice relaxing day to having to climb up onto a roof and work my ass off. I went to college right after highschool and finished in 4 and a half years with a double major! My last 3 semesters I was taking around 21 units...I'm surprised that didn't kill me! lol

I'll second that opinion... I took 24 units in core engineering courses my last 3 quarters to finish. I'm a testament to both perserverance, and that a man can live on Rockstars alone for months on end. One thing I can definately vouch for, when its all done and you get to the first day of your real job you're going to look back and realize two things:

One, you realize you don't know a damn thing about anything. Intelligence begins with the realization that you know nothing. Quote me on that, and live by it.

Two, out of 200 or whatever quarter units (or however many semester units that equates to), you'll only use about 12 of them. 4 of which are from that one elective you took that has nothing to do with your job, but you use it in your personal life.

Ok so some of you may know....I went to the hospital on monday etc and haven't been feeling very well since then! So today on my lunch I went to my friends work and one of her co workers was trying to cheer me up but it wasn't working too well because I was still in alot of pain! :( So my friend came to see me at work a few minutes ago and she brought me this....



...apparently he felt really bad so he wanted to try to cheer me up! I thought it was the sweetest thing ever and yes I'm easily ammused! lol

Yeah I didn't really say anything about it but I might as well now! I went in on monday because I was having really really bad chest pains as well as shooting pains in my left arm to the point where i couldn't even move! My friend called my mom so ofcourse she was freaking out so she begged me to go...so I went. They did an ekg and said it didn't "appear" to be cardiac but told me to take ibuprofen! lol Alot of help they are. Well it didn't get better...I didn't sleep at all that night and was on the verge of tears the entire night because it wouldn't stop hurting. So I made an appointment on tuesday with my pcp...she said it sounds like it might be a pinched nerve on my back or shoulder that could be causing everything. She gave me some different medication etc and said if I'm not feeling better by friday to call her and she'll schedule an mri and some other tests! Well it's thursday and I'm not really feeling any better...it still really hurts but i'm able to sleep a little at night but end up waking up at like 2 and can't go back to sleep. What's worse is that she said I couldn't do anything involving lifting or moving etc which really sucks because I was suppose to finish up my hatch this week! :(
