I just got a CF hood but it has no weatherstripping in the front of the hood. Do you guys worry about water entering the bay? I have a turbo there..and I am kinda worried....

i didn't have one on my CF hood either. i wouldn't be worried about it. any water that possibly happened to drip in would only be vaporized by the heat of the turbo anyways.

or if you're really still worried, just take the weather stripping off of your stock hood and put it on the CF hood...

i dont have it on my hood either.....i have a hood prop also and i dont have problems with water getting in at all......u should be fine D

i had no stripping, and a turbo ;)
i didnt worry, i mean, you shouldnt as long as you have a filter on the turbo, and as red4 said, the heat will just burn the water before it has time to do anything lol

yea.. i DONT have a filter on my turbo :) but I guess it doesnt matter cause the water would go to the intercooler... lol

To be honest I have never seen a CF hood that did have weather stripping :TU:
