97 b18 and 93 b16, projects

here are some pictures of my coupes. are the rice stuff that is currently on them (clear lights, ugly rims, sad attempt at shave job on the 93) are from the previous owners. here are some shots of the 97, the car was previously stolen so much of the interior was gutted.

mugen, yeah the car was stolen and it had air ride suspension which was crudely removed. Also the intake piping was stolen. Like i said, its a project.

I thought i would update with some new pictures. I am still waiting on my glove box and jdm climate control, but I installed a new dash and center consoles into my ek. Also installed a broadway mirror. That takes care of the inside. under the hood I snuck in a skunk2 IM and aem ram air intake.

where did you pick up that broadway mirror? how does it attach?

ebay, has a very simple clamp system on the back, clamps over your original. It attaches very tight and looks very clean

I left out two items as well. I don't have a before picture of it, but I installed a dark gray rear seat out of a 99 ex. I wish the picture showed it better, but the seat looks great. The original one was missing the bench part, and was light gray. Also I removed the gayness that is the z3 fender, and replaced it with the stock one, as well as intalling a new headlight. I know the front end is still a little jacked up, but it looks much better than it did.

yikes...dude, i know you're probably excited about this project, but ditch that shell. that shock tower all welded up scares the shit out of me...and it's not even my car. in my honest opinion, sell the b16 out of the 5th gen, sell the 5th gen. take the gsr and all good parts out of the 6th gen, and get rid of that thing. with the money you'd get from the b16/both shells, you can get a nice, and a safe might i add, coupe that will have a gsr swap ready to go in. god knows what other problems you might run into with that thing too.

it's your car though, so do what you want. i'm just saying what i think would be the best move.

well the only update i have right now is that the b18c blew a head gasket, and since I would like to buy a daily beater, pull that motor and build it, than install it ina different shell. I have decided to sell the eg b16 coupe. If anyone is interested in that coupe for the project or for the motor let me know. thanks

just bought some arp head studs for the gsr. Once I get those and the gasket in I will be doing the job. I am actually considering selling that car as a parts car and for the motor. So if there is any interest in that let me know.

well the intake has a srai on it now, and a skunk 2 intake manifold. The ram air intake won't be included witht he car, but thats so you know that it was driven with one on there, thats just what the engine looked like when i bought it. I am doing a head gasket on it right now. But once that is done, 3500. The reason I am asking that is because the engine with the skunk 2 manifold is worth about 2600, and the car certainly has 900 in parts on it. But I am open to offers.
