so, on saturday the 18th i went to see Dream Theater at the Congress Theater

my second concert ever, but wow, i absolutely love dream theater, and they perform so well live. its sooooo precise. i loved it.

my wife and I are going to see Rob Zombie next month. its going to be badass. the other big concert we went to a couple years ago was the Red Hot Chili Peppers with Queens of the Stone Age and Mars Volta.

they are really good, and supposedly about to sign a record deal...its really cool because i played snare in high school with their drummer

wow, i saw zao years ago at a small club here, i'm not a huge fan of their new sound.

yeah, they are kinda experimenting with more melodic vocals & electronics on the new one coming out in june too.. it's good, but 'where blood & fire bring rest' was their best album.

the last good concert i went to was 311/unwritten law/papa roach last summer...it was actually the best concert i've been to in awhile
