Ek sides

Ok who has EK sideskirts on there EJ1 and what does it take to mount them I recently got a set from someone and I want to mount them on my coupe but I need to know by people who have put them on there EJ1 to let me know what they actually did

took my stock skirts off and did'nt bother with the clips...only a few of them work....all the holes are different on the ek's than on the ej1's....so i use 6 self tapping screw....worked perfect for me

so use non of the OEM cilps and put the self tappers where G? Oh and rep points for you!

i put the self tappin screws by where the stock clips would go...used about 6.....here is a pic of an example on where i put each screw

when i put ek sides on my gf's 93 ex none of the clips lined up

so i just drilled holes on the bottom of the skirt and used the stock screw and screw hole right behind the driver and passenger tires, to mount the skirts.....

On my Ej1 i used Ek side skirts off a Ek hatch. I didnt bother using the existind mounting clips cause they dont line up. Honestly Eg coupe side skirts and Ek hatch side skirts are the same length. Use the 5 black push clips on the bottom of the side skirts and that will be enough to hold the side skirt up properly and pretty strong too. Use self tapping screws if you wanna be more sure but i didnt . Heres a couple of pictures.

I attempted to install my EK sides today but didn't know the best wat to go around it. Where exactly would I put the self tapping screws? Any other ways I would need to hold them down or anything?

just find a soldid point where the swrews can go into....i put them right next to where the clip holes are on the side skirts

I have been looking everywhere for Ek sideskirts and the only place I can find them is the dealer and they want something like 100 a peice for both.
