So I got a fix it ticket for not having my front plate on last month! So I went and bought the damn screws to put it back on...but then realized that there is nothing to screw into! Apparently I don't have that bracket or whatever it is behind the holes...so there is no way for me to put it on without taking off my bumper! That's a problem for me because I have nowhere to jack her up and get her off!

So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas! Also if I were to get a license plate relocator would that be acceptable to get the ticket written off?

you can go to home depot and buy L brackets and screw them into your bumper and use it to install your plates at your grille..and you can position it to the left too!! :P

cops will write you off once the plate is securely installed in the from within 60inches of the floor. Securely fastened is the term the violation code says. I would imagine screws are the most secure you can get.

if you really wanted to you can get the relocator kit from www.passwordjdm.com but if i were you i would just get an L bracket from home depot like they said. much cheaper.

Buy a relocator or make your own...I think it looks much better on our cars.

Ok sorry I didn't update you guys...I ended up having to take my front bumper off to get behind the holes...so I just attached it that way! I took it to the CHP office down here and the guy literally laughed...not at me...but at the ticket! He couldn't believe the office had nothing better to do then give me a fix it ticket for my front plate! hahaha

i feel you, i got arrested on friday night after getting pulled over, i wasn't driving but suppoesedly the license plate lights were out, so when i was cuffed in the back of the cop car i saw the lights were working and i'm like "dude, you're full of shit those lights work!!". state troopers suck!

Ya, I used to get pulled over for not having a front plate, now I love the way my plate looks. I just bought two L brackets and mounted them to the underside of the bumper then put the plate on!:TU:SWEET!
