It all started when i saw lil nemesis at a carwash with a for sale sign. Having a 96 dx, i felt the difference from that to this. It rode nice, the price was right, so i said "What the heck." Minutes later, i already had it in my home, the the adventure started.

This is the first pictures i ever took of the car, in these pics, i had both of them.



After a couple of weeks, i had to get a new clutch since my mechanic had told me that the weird sound that was coming from the tranny could have been the throughout bearing, it turned out it was the tranny :hoppingmad:

Then, i joined a car club, and i started to put all this crap on the car(neons, aftermarket tails....):

Power steering and A/C is for girly men ( Arnold cracks me up, how did we ever get him as a governor.

Alright guys. Finally some updates. Well, i finally bought a camera, I was expecting more from 10 mp, but to me it sucks. Well, here goes.

The car got a 00 Si front end w/ jdm fenders. Dropped on H&R sport springs.


The wheels got a fresh powdercoat in flat black.


I got me a whale penis, lol


future plans:
upgrade the suspension--saving up for some descent shocks.
get brembo blanks with some nice pads--got this already, way better.
then turbo this b***** -- might take a while for this one

Well, as of now, i have the Enkei's in the pictures. But i have thinking of getting some HX's and painting them black, but the thought of spacers puts me back on getting them. But i've always wanted some circuit 8's and 10's in royal bronze, or black. Also i've been thinking of getting some miata wheels, taking off the center caps, and painting em black, those things are pretty light and cheap. I basically want something sleeperish :twisted:.

Oh, and yeah i'm rocking Alpine, big step up from my old kenwood.

you dont need spacers to run the HX's, only people that did was EJ SI owners (99-00) because the front brake setup was big...if you do have any issuses with it.. all it is is grinding some to the caliper down... meaning the part that faces the outside of the wheel.. (part you can see with the wheels on..) a reg grinder will fix it... i've done it plenty times....

I believe the Si front brakes and the Ex's are the same. One guy was saying that grinding the caliper would cause some harm in the long run. Is it a lot of grinding though ?

nope.. i rode on Prelude brake setup with my Si wheels and i had to grind it down... had it about a year.. NO PROBLEMS.... and i'll double check on the ex/si brakes

Thanx red4. I allready have the springs. I am just saving up for the struts. I have the h&r sport, so i can't wait for that to happen. I am debating on which struts to choose though. I'm thinking about going with koni yellows, but they are a bit pricey. But then again, that warranty seems tempting.

kyb agx's or tokico illumina's would be a good choice too. i hear about people having good times with the H&R Sports plus AGX's. might even be worth doing a search on some other forums to see what people are running.

I went with something else, i'm selling the h&r's now. I'm riding on sprint now, these things are ticht, they handle nice, don't bottom out, and not a harsh ride, and i still need some new shocks. Can't wait till i get some new ones!

I'm pretty much piecing together a 99-00 front end. And also, i just got me a crx, i was wondering if that car was considered to be a coupe since that was what is was going to be called " civic coupe" back when it barely came out.

Well, the car now has a 99-00 front end, fogs, w/ si suspension, no longer lowered. Now i'm in need of a good paint job because half the car is blue, lol. Also, i am piecing together a turbo setup, and since i have fogs i will be using a wrx intercooler in place of the ac. So if anyone has done this hit me up w/ more info. Oh, i also got an apexi exhaust, vroom vroom.

Sup guys, how ya'll been. Well, it's about time i updated my page. The car got a front end face lift along w/ being dropped with different springs. Also, i got disk brakes in the back, rear sway bar, brembo blanks all around with i forgot what pads. Will post more pics later. Let me know what you guys think. Also, the updates are on the first page, should i post updates on the first page or as i go along. Also, no more ex cluster, i got me a gsr cluster.

Gotta move it up a little. Could trim it a bit too. The opening on the civic dash narrows at the bottom. I ran into that problem when I did that to my girl's car.

So should i move it more up? There is one or more tabs at the bottom that are keeping it from going any higher. If i go any higher i would have to chop those tabs off.

I also had that problem, I think I'm gonna cut those tabs off when I put hers back in. I'll let you know how it turns out.
