Jdm Ej1's Coupe from the Begining

Well here are the pics of my "JDM Ej1 Coupe" when I first got it! It came to me for 2500 bucks minus the wheels and the front seats.





So this is what happens when you try to help out someone with a low tire on the highway doing like 70 at 630 in the morning! She lost control of the car and to avoid my kids getting hurt I ended up hitting a tree line and killin my beloved Coupe!




So Now I fight the insurance and they say that she never hit me so they will not cover it! I end up having to get the parts out of pocket and the rebuild of my coupe begins.(Read: Slow rebuild)



Ok so now I got it some what together the body is coming back to normal some what, well my motor decided to give up on me. Just my luck huh!Happend to be the luckiest thing yet to the coupe as I was able to source a 95 b18b from a 4dr special edition Integra.
Out with the OLD!

So I painted up the valve cover for now just to make it look presentable. OH I scored a AEM CAI from a 99 Civic SI that was going to the auction at work!



So I drove with out a mirror on the pass side for a long time until I found a whole door at a Junk yard for 40 bucks. But on the way home something on in the back of the truck put a hole in the door so I could only use the mirror!





Then around Sept of 05 I found another 95 Ej1 that was from canda and it was the same color BG33P-4 well after having it at my job for 3 days the car came up missing? So since the car was not registered and was not insured I lost my 500 bucks right, well yes i did but i did find the ****er who took the car and well lets just say he became real familure with the end of my baseball bat!

So then about a month later I was at a pick ur part looking for a starter for my B18B1 and guess what no starter but there was a shiny new right hand door from a BG33P-4 EJ1!!! Sexy so I picked up the door with the regulator and all the wiring for 29 bucks!!! I started to install it but it got dark on me fast so I finished it up the next day and I took some pics of my Coupe Coming back to life!!! CCFL!!!

Around the same time I got a trunk lid from a buddy for nothing! Only thing is that its black! But I came with the Stock USDM wing on it! I like the look of the OEM wing on the Coupe so I bolted it up!




Ok guys so i had previously took off my crossed drilled rotors due to warpage by the prior owner and i was not sure if I could have them cut turn again so I got some shit rotors from autozone.

So then one happy day in the land of Honda where i worked it was dead as hell and i thought well let me see if i can cut these. To m surprise YES U CAN CUT cross drilled rotors on a brake lathe.

So two months after I installed those shit rotors they warped. So I did not want to drive to NC on those rotors knowing I had freshly cut and tru rotors in my tool box.

So I got my 5 YEAR OLD son to help me with the job that day. SO here he is doing the Job I did supervise him and I can tell u i only had to tell him things ONCE and He did them!!! SO for all you older and smarter people out there, IF my 5 YEAR OLD can do brakes so can U!!! So here he is!





















So now its December of 05 and My Gurl got me these for Chrismas!






I clean them up and I painted them flat Black and I installed them, Good right?







Wrong they don't FOLD So I call up password JDM and they send me a new relay and a switch but still they don't fold. So I have to take them off once again box them up and send them back to them. They told me they would pay for the shipping to and from me but if they get the mirrors and they fold then I would have to pay for the shipping to and from me! Found out 3 days ago that the mirrors are bad and they are sending me a new set within a week!

Jdm EJ1 Cluster!




So I modded the cluster so I can have my SRS system working in my car! I added the Cruise control also but I wont have a light for it!

I got one of these also mine had damage from the previous owner!

Thanks Ron I just have been trying little by little to get some parts. I am saving for the big things I need like a radiator support and a hood and 2 fenders and 2 quarter panels...

Dave the Cluster I picked up on ebay for 130 it had a couple of blown bulbs and some wierd light where the srs is supposed to go. I found the gauges for the temp and fuel to be bad so I removed my needles from my old cluster and installed those gauges in the JDM cluster. I have the tach and the speedo still in good condition, if your interested in those.

I want the jdm clilmate control but I know that I will only use the face of it and I cant see myself paying 80 plus dollars for a climate control only to strip it and mount the parts on my climate control. But who knows if I find one for a good price I will prob get it.

I hear ya Lue but right now I am just not ready to spend it I have too much I have to get first. The cluster was gettting more and more scarce so I had to put down the cash for that I also got a few other parts that I am keeping Top Secret for a while they are parts that are rare and very very hard to find! I had to make a call to Japan to get them!:jdm:

Yo Dina a buddy of mine who i sold my old EJ1 to is reselling it for only $1500. I needs a little bit of work dericing it. But as far as i know it runs mint. I think teh chassis has around 150k-160k on it. Here is a list of the things i did to it b4 i sold it:

swapped in a new d16 from japan (ZC) should only have about 50-60k on it now
rear disc conversion
exedy clutch (factory replacement)
AEM V2
DC headers
Magnaflow cat
NO NAME N1 style exhaust
One piece headlights
Red/clear taillights
spoon style mirrors
and it is sitting on tokico blues with tokico lowering springs

There is more shit i did to it but i cant think of it all right now...

So I am giving up on this coupe and still parts keep arriving for it :frown: I am so sad but I had to go out and move it today and since Password JDM replaced my faulty JDM Power Folding Mirrors I had to make sure they worked before I took them to get painted.
