im head'n to the track this Wed. (hope'n that nothing happens or closes down) so i was wonderin wat other's times where.
im hope'n to hit mid 14's with my sohc turbo on a bad clutch and traction problems! ill post my times if i can run it a few times..

my car would still be there if i ran it =).i ran against a 12 second sentra bluebird sr20det and lost half a car length but my time slip didnt come out...dynoes are days that i have work...geez im never gonna get anytuning time.btw do u have a wideband i can buy off of u?

nah, no widebands. but im hope'n to hit 14's with a bad clutch and steelies. my buddy says it isnt gonna happen but then i told bout my race the other day and he said it will now! haha.. jus cant wait:rockon:

6 cuz of the fmu!!!! also i have an internal wastegate with a hks adjustable wategate acutator...upgrade ur fuel managment and u will striking 13's np i shit u not. 6psi is not enough power for the sohc imo...i have it at 9psi and i just wanna flick it to 15psi jusst to see how much thise motor can take...my b7 took 15psi in a whole day run before i popped it.

you might be able to hit mid 14s... but it depends on track... ima have to say hi 14s ... but thats just my guess.. i hope you do better but with that clutch... i dunno.. fill us in on wed.

yeah, i jus wana hit 14's cuz my last car ran a 15.2 (94 coupe ls swap'd) and i kno its quicker than that! but yuh, fmu is only temporary, needed it to get more fuel so vtec would engage and hold with boost!

ms ej8 -- sry, i've been try'n to find one that i can get to look somewhat like my car and jus so happend to be urs... jus did a few mods to it to make it closer to mine.
im goin to the gainseville raceway in FL

at 6 psi?? i'd say mid 15s at best. i was boosting 8 pounds & only got low 15s.(stock internals) if you plan on keeping the sohc. rebuild it for bo0st & run no less than 12 psi. if you want some more info. hook up on http://www.d-series.org/ . they should have what you're looking for, or some ideas towards it. keep us posted when you do go for a pass down the 1320, let us know.

but i'm sure you have some work into it right? i'm just saying i doubt people could get that kind of time without more than just slapping on a turbo. what all have you done? i'm just curious. i haven't seen a d16 get that good of a time in a while, good work.

mid 15's? are you serious? hahaha, but yuh, def. gonna run 14's. raced a 15.1 prelude and pulled 4 cars... i have a buddy run'n stock internals hit low 14's.. put skunk2 intake mani w/ zex cam and ran high 13's... im def. hit'n 14 range cuz my last car ran a 15.2 and this one is SSOOOOOOOO much quicker:rockon:

no it is possible... i ran a 14b dsm turbo and a pieced together turbo kit, stock internals for the most part + exhaust, at 7lbs. i hit a 14.35 14.27 then a 13.9. it is possible, didnt think id run that good but i can drive the hell outta my car..
d16y8t... as long as u are a good driver u will see the low 14's that u are wanting. and dont worry bout the sig.. i changed mine.

Well.... I dont know about this whole situation. The car in my avatar is a 98 ej8, with a rev hard kit, and at 10 lbs. it ran a 14.5 at rockfalls raceway in WI. It was a hot day, and he was using deflated stock tires, with a great reaction time. But, he did spin halfway thru second b4 he could get some grippage, even after hella burn-out. In my opinion he could have easily hit 13's with slicks. I dont know if 6 lbs. is enough for mid 14's especially with a bad clutch. Just my 2 cents.

d16y8t... as long as u are a good driver u will see the low 14's that u are wanting. and dont worry bout the sig.. i changed mine. hmm, i guess it really does depend on the driver. i pulled a 14.2 @ 102mph over the weekend, so there my new best time in the coupe. (keep in mind, this is on street tires, & only bolt ons are CAI & exhaust. car is stripped out though... i need FWD drag wheels. anyone got a set?) I'll be doing a turbo setup here soon, hoping to break low 13s at 7-8 pounds. i know a guy with a turboed hatch(92) b16a turbo running 8pounds, he has a best of 13.1 ..

ms ej8, sry bout the sig thing... you can get ur ol one back:neutral: but yuh, clutch isn't really slipping anymore, i spin through 2nd gear tho so that might set me back a lil bit, idk...ill see wat i can do!
