Type R dash

Is it possible to put the centre console out of a 99-00 ek9 type r (the one with the climate controls going up the side) into a normal ek dash.....


same for steering wheel

if you mean taking the 99-00 and putting it a 96-98 then yes but in order for your climate controls to work you would need the entire heater box thingy that goes behind the dash...= a lot of work...

it will work. i heard they a bitch to install. how hard could it be, maybe they're the bitch?

nah man its a pain... you have to pull of the entire dash.. and then remove the old control unit and then slap the new one on.. and run wiring for it.. and then reasemble.. it sounds easy but its not... and all that work for you just to rock a 99-00 climate control panel.. NO THANKS

^^ plus you hafta run all new heating ducts and stuff behind the dash as well. big pain unless you have an entire donor car to work from I'd say.

cosmetic... it looks a bit nicer.. i remember it in my old EJ8 (99).. but as long as it works i dont give a fawk..
