expanding to other types of coupes?

even tho ya we have hatches n sedans on here also...lol

but seeing that s13 coupe....i dunno i think it would be cool to see some other honda coupes, nissan, subaru, toyota ect coupes on here as well

Sounds like a good idea, maybe have a non-civic coupe section, and break that down into Integra/rsx, nissan s/z-chassis, toyota, etc.

i'm personally not for expanding the coupe council to non-civic coupes, i think it abandons what the coupe council was founded for, a place for a minority group of enthusiasts to have common ground and discussion, there are plenty of sites for accords, rsx, integra, etc already...let them join the site, but not the official council

I'm with Ryan, although we aren't an elite group, the cc was founded on a principle. Of course anyone is encouraged and welcome to the site, the "official cc" should remain.

if we get types of cars on here the site would get off topic and wouldnt be able to focus on the civic scene which is why i joined the site in the first place, and i think if we let other cars on our site would turn into somn like jdmu which isnt what jdmcc is all about imo

and you brought up the point that there are some other cars like nisans and hatches, which in my opinion should not be happening, hatches are ok but nissans? and dc5s? and wasnt the main reason edwin started the cc off jdmc to get away and have a forum based on civic coupes alone?

Well the site is open to everyone we have had eclipse's and chevy cobalts on here I welcome every and anyone but just Civic Coupe's Integra and RSX Coupes are allowed to be in the Official Coupe Council.

well a cobalt is just as JDM as your car and my car, considering they are both made in the USA, you can buy jdm maufactured parts for a cobalt just like you can an ej1

Anyone is allowed on here, we don't care if you drive civic or a ford bronco, however the coupe council was a group that originated from JDMC, a primarly civic group.
The CC gives a niche to coupe owners to discuss common problems, mods, etc...

i agree with 2coupes, i think others can be allowed to join the site, just not be able to be offical members.. also there is plenty of sites that are open to everything, i come here to learn and talk about the car i have. civic coupe:TU:

nobody has ever discouraged anyone to not join no matter what they drive, the only difference is if you are an actual cc member. The rest of it just forums and the more cars and types of cars we are tollerant to, the more people we get here. Then we make more friends, we educate more people, we get more advertisers, we get more hits, more posts, more action.

There will always be a core CC but saying we don't want anything but Civic Coupes to be a member here would just perpetuate ignorance and cause drama. This site is not about that, we want all types and to make friends with people into the car modifying hobby PERIOD.I personally couldn't care less if you drive a Pinto or a Supra, if you enjoy modding it or wanna make friends and learn stuff then sign on up and make friends!!!

im just saying bring more coupes to the site, cause ya we r mainly a site based on Coupes...and coupe is in our webpage name.....i would think we would want more coupes on the site, rather then the typical sites with hatches n ect

i don't think other cars with alternate models get as shunned out from the whole scene more than the civic coupe...n e one can join but official coupe council members are honda coupe affiliated...i do understand what u mean by expanding like s13 coupes fc coupe etc....but those cars get the recognition and are not discriminated due to prior models ...chassis type...etc...even though it might work later on but as of now....it is what it is....btw i worked a long shift and am just blabbling
