Sometimes it seems like I'll never make it out of the shit storm I've always been in.
I swear I have the worst luck of anyone I know...
It's usually when I really really want something.
I bought a Mugen style lip from someone on H-T 2 Fridays ago. I paid Thursday night, he shipped Friday morning. Good deal.
I check USPS this past Friday and my lip is still sitting in Cali according to their website.
Whatever.
I check it today and it says it's been delivered to my house...ok cool. I get home and sure enough it's there, but it looks odd. Upon further inspection, the dipshit USPS packers have snapped it in half, and the guy I bought it from neglected to pay the $3 needed for insurance.
Soooo....I paid $75 for something I can't do shit with. USPS won't replace it, and this guy is saying it's not his fault it's broken.
Technically, yeah it is. When I order parts from people, they usually just fork over the $2-3 for insurance, and I expected this guy would. I always do it out of courtesy; shit happens. He decided he couldn't sacrifice $3 and refuses to give me my money back.
What can I do? Will my bank give me it back? Or PayPal (even though it wasn't bought off eBay)?
And on that note, anyone have a lip for an Ej1/EG they want to sell? :/
