JDMCC is a drama-free zone, lol. your coupe is looking really good man. its amazing how simple upgrades like Si wheels and an OEM style CF hood can change the look of a car. i think an Si lip would really top off the front end. it just seems to be begging for a front lip.

Thanks for the comment, yeah i will keep my eyes open for one. I was going to get a password carbon fiber lip, but i realized, oh, i live in colorado. that would be a bad idea..lol. plus, im getting rid of the carbonfiber hood, and thats why i was gonna get the carbon lip, to match it. im getting an oem silver hood, to make it cleaner lol. so, an si lip would set it off...:TU:

as far as the crower cam, not a lot of power gain, or at least any noticeable. it rev's quicker thats for sure, idle is a little rougher...but nothing too noticeable. mpg, seems about the same. i dont pay a lot of attention to that, i drive so much its pathetic, i bought the car with 79k miles in december, and i just went over 86k miles yesterday..so its been takin some harsh beatings.
anyway, the cam was expensive, i payed about 480$ for it, which sometimes i think was a waste...i should of just gone with Blox racing cam for like 300...but its all good. it revs hard, engine seems way smoother. some people say its not a good investment if your not boosting your car...but i wanted to see what my little sohc can do with all motor. maybe ill boost it in the future, but for now i like it just the way it is :TU:

I'm going to paint it all when i get the hood. I havnt found anyone with a silver hood they want to sell me, or trade with cash for my carbonfiber hood, so I will probably end up buying any color hood, or a new one, and get it painted the same time i get the skirts, moldings, mirrors, handles, and lip. So it will look clean :TU:

Yeah its a nice camera...I just need to work a bit. And white_rice, yeah we should definatly take pics. I took these at my elementary school from WAYY back, in the bus parking lot. (Woodmen Robers..if that rings a bell?) and the other ones are at a small parking lot on cintennial or however you spell it.

I'm stilll playin around with locations, but me and you should definatly take pics soon man :TU:

I like the updates. Have you tried going up your driveway at a sharper angle? From your pics looks like you're going in straight on. When I have to go through dips and parking lot entries/exits I go through at a sharp angle...sometimes it pisses people off :lol:

I would say paint everything. Door handles, side mouldings, and side skirts. Then maybe paint the mirrors, or go with Spoon carbon fiber mirrors. Just my $0.02.

its still comming. i dont know where my oil drain flange went, so i have 2 buy another one. also, i needed the jpipe, because the 14b has a flange from the turbo outlet unlike normal turbos. so i got that finally:


I finally ordered an adapter plate, so im waiting for that to come in. then, the drain flange, and its going on. ill keep you guys updated..ive just been 2 busy with school and work its frusterating! lol

nice setup, I'm kinda considering going boost myself. Is that an HF manifold with adapter plate? Also what turbo are you running?

yeah hf mani to the 14b (dsm turbo..)
yeah with an adapter plate...
the only problem with my turbo is it has more turbo lag than most. (doesnt kick in till a bit late..)

I had the same idea as far as the manifold but if I can find a log manifold for the right price I'll probably go that route, but until I know what I'm getting I won't know what flange I'll need. I'm still trying to figure out which turbo would be good. Thinking about using a T25, but I want something with more headroom because i'm planning on building a bottom-end to swap in.

yeah thats snow...lol. we had over 2 feet of snow about..4 days ago. then, 2 days after that, freakn, 68 degrees! melted almost everything, now just a few snow blocks on the side of the streets :TU:

as far as the fitment on the drivers side, yeah i have the spacers, but see the passengers? fits perfect
what happend was, when i did the foglight install, as most of you know, we have 1 hood prop on 1 side. that can be good and bad...for me, = bad. i had it propped on that 1 side for 6 hours in direct sunlight. so, considering all the weight was shifted to 1 side while in heat...that caused the carbonfiber to bend (im guessing) so, once i popped it back..i was like WTF!

but i reversed the problem, im proping it up from the other side, and its slowly going back to normal...but it is pretty ugly =(

well, i sprayed the whole thing black, then with a brush, painted the honda letters with gold paint :D

I am not selling the car for awhile, I got too impatient and started ordering parts...lol. I was saving cash to trade for a wrx...and, well, I couldnt stand it, so I wasted it all on my civic. Which isnt a bad thing...haha. But things were ordered last week and just now gettting in. I am boosting the car again, but this time, a sexy setup. Not a small 14b!

Still deciding on exhaust

i just used a rubber mallet...kinda odd way of doing it...but i just put the fenders on the carpet, put a rag where the dent is on the inside of the fender, and pounded it out. and to get it even, i flipped the mallet upside down so the top of the rubber was facing down onto the fender, and i used a hammer and hammer'd the end of the handle of the rubber mallet..and it came out pretty good. not perfect...but hell, better than having nasty dents!

Actually used a yellow stained glass paint. I was about to order the lamin-x but didnt feel like buying (looked like a pain in the ass to apply) So I just took a chance and painted them. Good thing about this is, if I didnt like it, all I would have to do is wetsand the paint off, and slap some plastic polish, and we're all good!

had a little fun with my stock exhaust..cleaned it up a bit and chopped the big ass pipe in half...

then i traded camera for boost controller...****ing MINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, its for sale. HAHA 340$$$$ OBO comes with all wiring, connections, etc etc.

Heres a little bit of updated pics..
I painted the outside part of teh mirror silver...matches pretty close (not perfect..but i only did a few coats with NO wetsanding or clearcoat.) im doing that later, so hopefully itll look a little bit better.





And my heads being built next week...Heres whats going to happen:

Crower stage 2 camshaft (for turbo applications), AEM true time camgear, skunk2 valvesprings + retainers, new clips, new OEM rocker arms (couldnt find high performance ones with my budget at the moment...so renew em bitches), Precision stainless steel valves (intake and exhaust), and of course, gonna polish my head before any installation.

Ill get pics..should start all this next monday.

Haha, I usually do act like my car is a two seater, three at max. I don't like to carry any more than that otherwise I scrape all over...and I hate the sound of my car bottoming out.

Car looks good but those headlight covers are all hazed over. I used Meguiar's PlasticX on mine and it help clear it up a bit.

Yeah I keep wetsanding then using that same plastic polish..clears up...but then after awhile, it goes back to being hazed. pretty gay =(
