Hey there, thougth id add a thread to this **brand new** section. Who all is from colorado or surrounding states?
I'm livin' it up a mile-high. I think there is another member here that is located in Colorado..."lagunabluek" I think is his name.
Not sure of anyone else though.
Ooh, just thought of something, for our clan logo we should photoshop a Mountain Dew logo to say Mountain Clan. That would be friggin sweet, but someone else would have to do it because I don't have photoshop.:lol: I think we would be the first clan to have a logo.

Ah! Very nice idea! I have photoshop and fireworks, so I'll start on that project tomorow when I get off work. I'll post it here when im finished.
Too bad there isnt any more people from Colorado here...I guess its just too harsh weather for them ;)

we need to get a meet planned sumtime soon
To begin, what do you guys think would be a fair spot to meet at. I think most of you are in the Springs, while I'm up in Denver. So maybe halfway or somewhere in the Springs, I dunno?

there is a good park near where i live with plenty of parking and restrooms

or we could do castle rock or monument (great pic opportunity's)
i dont know those places to well though
Central part near downtown and Mile High Stadium. Castle Rock and Monument would be good choices for spots too. But I'm with ya, don't know that area that well. Maybe I could check it out this Sunday, I'm sure I won't be doing anything.
Okay, so yesterday I took a drive to Castle Rock. Found a couple spots for a possible meet. But, I didn't check the whole city (i.e. both sides of the highway) I mainly stood east of I-25. So I think I may go down there again and do a little more searching this Sunday.
Let me know what you think.

I was wondering where you went. Thought you found the end of the earth and fell off.
Now we can have three coupes take part in a little Colorado meet. I'm still slowly working on finding a spot to meet in Castle Rock. I think I found a spot, but my schedule is pretty full this weekend and next week. So I'm shooting for a Sunday in July sometime.

Also, I noticed from your build thread white_rice, that you're going to Texas in 3 weeks...well maybe 2 now. So I'm curious if anyone is still interested in meeting up in Castle Rock.

anyways. a meet would be great. castle rock would be awesome, i just cant do it during the week. weekends are my best bet, saturday or sunday. maybe friday...all depends on my work schedule. but i kno u posted like a month ago, but let me know :)

Alrighty. Went down to Castle Rock yesterday and drove around for a bit after I did a little shopping. Found a good spot I think. Overall drive for me was 31 miles...I hope its about the same distance for you...I wanna keep it fair and meet up in the middle. I was thinking maybe the 10th or the 17th of this month let me know if that works out for you, I'll also check with some of my friends and then I will give you the location of the spot.

yeah either day would work for me. i have nothing going on sundays. ill get some of my fellow buds to come up too, and yeah whenever, just let me know where and what time works for you, cuz im open all day.
I talked with some of my friends and they said they couldn't make it this Sunday the 10th, because they're going up to Bandimere. So it looks like it will be the 17th. I'm thinking around 2pm if that sounds alright with you. Hope the time and date works, and I'll send the location of the spot next week, cool?

Okay so this Sunday it is. I'm still awaiting word from my buddies if they're comming or not.
I'm thinking of a time between 1pm and 2pm. Let me know which time you want to do.
Location/Directions:
I-25 North to Castle Rock exit 184 (you should see a Wal-Mart sign/banner on your right...damn Wal-Marts are everywhere). Once you exit, make a RIGHT on Founders Parkway. Merge left and follow Founders Parkway until you get to Front Street, turn LEFT on Front Street. Take that to Allen (its a T-shaped intersection) and turn LEFT. You should see a Red Robin, Qdoba and a Heidi's. Park in there. Hope these are good directions.
You also have a PM.
Just wondering if you are going to be able to make it Sunday. I haven't heard from you yet.

ah shit i totally spaced. my car isnt running right. since i recently installed the turbo, it has a major oil leak, and literally, id probably make it up there and then have no oil leflt over...i dont know whats up. if i can figure it out today before then, ill try to make it up there.
Since I didn't hear from you Saturday night, I assumed you weren't able to make it. So I told my buddies we'll try to set up another time. I hope you didn't make it up there and were looking for me, since I wasn't there.
Sucks to hear about your car. Let me know when you get it fixed, then we'll plan out another day.

hey sorry about the whole thing dude. my fault 100%.
i wanted the turbo in, since i had everything for it. turns out, major oil leaks and boost leak. its pretty much non-driveable. ill try to get it done here soon, so we can definatly meet. sorry again man
Its alright. Don't sweat it bro. I understand certain things may come up that may prevent you or I from going, but hey there will be another day.

yeah definatly. me and a few guys are putting up a big honda meet sometime in the next month before winter, but its in the springs. if you and your friends dont mind an hour drive, i can meet you all in castle rock, and we can all head down to the meet. its about halfway into the springs, big parking lot. were not sure on a date yet, but it probably will be next month sometime, were just trying to get some people to come. LMK if you guys are interested.
I'll probably be interested in going. Hopefully it doesn't snow by then because the first time I hear snow being forecasted for Denver, I'm putting my winter wheels/tires back on. So I hope we can make it before then, that way you can see my car in summer mode, not that its bad in winter mode ;) .
I'll check with my friends and see if they want to roll down too. One has a Talon with a bad alternator and the other has an MR2 with a motor that burns oil. Sorry they're not :honda: 's but they're nice cars.

oh dude its fine. theres gonna be tons of people showing up, i bet it will normally be for hondas, then everyone else is gonna wanna join then go there too lol. i think were all meeting at some place(not sure where yet.) then gonna go for a mid-day cruise, then cruise to red-robin for some lunch. ill let you guys know of any more updates:TU:
and yeah, it would be nice to leave my car slammed as it is in summer mode...but once winter comes, imma jack it up ;)
