Turn signal bulbs

I have a 98 civic, but I swapped the tails for the 99-00 and I just got pulled over the other day and found out that I need to have amber turn signal bulbs. I was wondering if any of you had this problem and where do I get them and which ones! Tried Honda and they only have the clear ones for my car.

color them with a red sharpie.. :)

no, it'll be a dark amber.. try it out.. if they dont look good.. i think Autozone sells amber bulbs.. i got some for my gauge cluster there..

I put the 50/50 tails on my 93. Never got stopped for the white signals, but I got tired of them.

Got my amber bulbs at autozone. I think they were like 2 or 3 dollars.

coloring your bulb with a sharpie, wouldn't that decrease the life of your bulb?

I looked all over the place for the bulbs no luck. I only found them at autolumination online, but curently have no money in my account. Second choice put 98 tails back on(just outer though....until I can get the bulbs) thanks guys!

it can't be that hard to find rear bulbs.... did you try advanced auto parts or O'Riellys maybe a junk yard... if all fails spray paint them with that spraypaint everyone does their guage cluster bulbs.
