hi, i'm a 23year old guy from Finland, and i've had this coupe for 3.5years now.
bought it in the summer of -03, from Germany.
my ride before this was a -79 opel kadett C 1.2L. yeah. :TU:

shit:
- d15b7 swapped for a d16z6. future plans: maybe a b16a2 or a b18c1
- rear brake conversion (discs)
- strutbar, front up
- 16" slips
- complete engine fix at mileage 155.000km (bearings, piston rings etc.)
- MPM-Performance exhaust header
- 2.5" cat-back exhaust (..i know..)
- block, head, tranny painted silver thermal paint
- valvecap painted in thermal wrinkle red by VHT
- interior finished (black leather)
- ambers
- yellow foglights
- some styling kit bs. will be removed soon enough.
- ice: dvd/mp3-player, tft-screen, 6.5" Focal mid-bass and tweeters. no sub. they weigh too much.

ok, so i took the z6 out and put it to pieces.
i'm changing everything. seals, gasgets, piston rings, valve rubber seals.
aaaaand all bearing surfaces to the crank and rods.
now i'm grinding all the valves and valveseats with some grinding paste, uknow.
i hope i can get it running again :D

everything else is polished, but the block, head and valvecover will be painted.
mmm and the gearbox is also painted.

i'm using silver thermo-paint that can take up to 600'C

oh finally i got the time to re-paint my hood and trunk.

i painted them twice and i screwed 'em up both times.
(crappy surface, shine sucked, paint cracked up after a week where the RICER-spoiler used to be..etc..)
after that i left them be for about a month because i just didn't have any more inspiration left. i was kinda pissed off really.

BUT NOW I MADE IT, I SUCCEEDED AFTER ALL!
especially the trunk came out Really good. i was so freeking happy.

just to say that this project won't go no further any time soon, due to my studies. no money, no funny :)
if i graduate (big if :)), it will be the year 2010-11 and during this time i wont be able to make any huge investments to my car. such as a new engine.
my dream was the b18c and still is, but i really can't do anything without money.
in the future, when i can get myself in hold of some big bucks, i'll make my dreams come true!

and btw. i did fix up the lip eventually :)

Dina, none. thanks for asking thou :) well, i have a new front lip and the Slips are on, but nothin else.
i've been living like "from hand to mouth" all summer, so no extra money at ALL.

but overall the car has worked very well, no problems what-so-ever so i'm pretty happy with it. still.. I MISS MY COUPE.
I have been thinking about letting this car go, and buy myself a coupe again.
but we'll see.

i think i still have one d-series tranny somewhere (witch is also messed up) but i'll make one good tranny out of two bastards.
