steering play

my steering has had some play in it for a while...i can move the wheel about 1/2 to 1 inch before it starts to turn...read something about needing to adjust the tension adjustment on the rack....tighten that up and it should be good....but im not 100% sure where it is located...some help would be great from someone cause this play is starting to bug me...thanks in advance

you might want to check the bolt that holds your steering wheel to the rack... jack up your whip and it should be right where the rack and steering colum meet... i had a friend that had that and his bolt was striped....

for sure lionel...its been bugging me for a while now so i thought i would get to the bottom of it and see what is just up...i will probably fix it tomorrow if im not to busy
