they had Import Showoff in Shreveport over the weekend. I lined up with ej2_ricer , in his 95 dx. i forget what his mods are. i let him have a 6 car lead(cuz he has an auto tranny) & still whoomped him.. haha.. it's ok for me to rag on him though, he's my little brother. & today is his 18th b-day!

haha, yeah i wouldn't drive all the way to new jersey to go to IS. man, thatd be a long drive... Shreveport , Louisiana has a city next to it called Bossier, it's almost like a suburb cuz its right across the water, that's where the raceway is. it's cool & all. they have a another big Import something coming up soon in june, i should have a my head p/p & valvetrain comepleted by then, i'll be sure to post up new times when that comes around.

nah, its cool, let me explain how its done:
they do it by the tree. so what happens is the lesser powered car will take off & then when they reach what the sensors would consider him to have started at 6 cars(or however many cars you feel you need to give) your tree will give you the green light to go. its done with sensors & computers, they don't actually let the other car go up 6 cars down the track. hehe. technology is wonderous. i thought most tracks had that setup? maybe just the ones i have been too. its really cool for when you wanna race that blown big block 427 & you know he'll burn you a new one, if you don't even the score.
