I remember when I was there looking for the Coupe Council members and I got hated on just for looking for people I know. That place is a joke and the admins and mods dont do shit about non of it!

the only reason i signed up was for my first post on there, a DIY for manual window regulator replacement. and to use classifieds, and the only thing i like about H-T is their library of DIY threads ( then again, most suck and are outdated, not working correctly, or pointless )

i really liked JDMC when i signed up on there, but it was getting annoying like h-t was, so i found jdmcc, and i love it here ( yes im admitting i love this forum )

im all about being tight knit, helping those who are willing to help others.

There is only a few spots on HT that I RARELY visit. The welding and fab is a good spot, other than that it pretty much sucks. You can find some folks who know their cars over there, but the mainstream crowd that prevails is pretty ignorant.

i never bothered with honda tech. the few time i've been there it was nothing but shit. i mean damn, your cars are clean and respectable, the pictures are nice. who cares if your don't have wheels or swaps yet. at leaste you're not putting up pics of ironing board wings and crooked body kits.

I go on HT for..marketplace.

Majority of the time it is hater-tech. When I'm bored I watch them fight and sometimes it is hilarious. It is not, I just say ehh and go browse their classifieds to find any good deals. I got alot of parts off HT for dirt cheap :)

One thing is posting your car up there gets you alot of critizism. Words..are words..nothing more. When I see people get all worked up because of it, I think wth. It's just words..they are behind another computer who caress.

HT is clearly a waste of money. If you don't have a 34660797 post count, no one listens to you and you really don't have any rep. Plus the site setup blows and the board design was outdated in 1998.

If anyone wants another Honda board to hang out in, try out Hondaswap. I'm a long-time member there and everyone is pretty down to earth provided no one acts like assholes. Plus no ones gets flamed for rocking steelies in the winter either - :TU: I've met the owner of the forum a few times and hes a good guy.

The main thing I think I like about honda-tech is that there ARE TECHS out there that can help you. I mean sure its about 5% of the population with the rest of them being ricers or ****heads but hey..those 5% of the people there are value enough to me. If you browse the Type R forums, you will know that those people are fairly knowledgable in there. It's almost like another community inside the "hater-tech."

H-T has alot of information that I need there. problem is, it is really hard to damn find. If you want to post your car, don't do it on honda-tech, but if you want to find information on something you are having trouble with, H-T is the one of the best places to look besides your service manual.

I've been on that site since 5/02 and have less than 100 posts for the simple fact the people there are shit heads that somehow have lost the ability to be civil to anyone but themselves.

Their loss, I have gone out of my way to help many members of that site in person along with countless other boards and in the end the only ones who appreciate it truly have never come from HT. Too bad for them.
