Off the top of my head you need:
manual trans
flywheel
flywheel bolts (auto driveplate and flywheel use different bolts)
clutch
clutch bolts
clutch master cylinder
clutch slave cylinder
line connecting to two (alot of people use a braided stainless instead of a hardline)
shift linkage
shifter
rubber cup for the botom of the shifter
bolts to connect all of them if bought seperately
manual upper and rear mount for ek, hasport conversion mount for eg

Dina did it in his eg

this is only if he was going B or D.

Since K has a cable shift linkage setup, the swap already comes with the shifter portion of the stuff.

You do need the pedal assembly for the clutch pedal as well as the hydraulic clutch master cylinder and you probably need to run SS lines cause the K tranny will be different anyways.

It is actually a lot less parts since most of the B/D parts are scraped when going K.

Passenger mount (B/D tranny mount) is removed so it doesnt matter if it is AT or MT. Shift linkages on B/D is not needed (cable is used) and the hole for the automatic, will be need to be cut for the shifterbox for K. Flywheel/Clutch stuff is on the K already. Slave is on the K already. Everything else can be done at home, if you have time and some sort of knowledge. No one said its going to be cheap to do this though.

as far as professional labor. it is alot of work to put in a K. There are just a few more steps to go from A/T to Manual K. Not too difficult imo, just alot of work and somewhat time consuming. The only thing I see I would want a professional is the welding the new engine mount on the passenger side.

Oh yea this is assuming you do the K at the same time as the manual swap.

just order the karcepts shifter relocation plate and the shift box from them and use the cables from the swap...its a breeze...you cut a hole and the box comes up from the bottom and bolts right up...and it looks stock and it has a protector plate on the bottom... www.karcepts.com you might want to also order the hasport mount kit as well...get this going so i can have inspiration to get my k going as well!!!!

here in the bay, there are dime a dozen of k20 powered cars. I can name 4 people I know personally with K20 in their civics.

if you are looking for a shop to do it, You have many options.

Rcrew and Redzone are two good shops.

He has a k20A from the DC5-R. I believe he cut his hood skeleton with the 2nd version of the hasport mounts.

Yea..k20a are more common nowadys. I'm all over the area too like hayward, miltpitas, etc etc. They are out there but they don't do street racing. At least not to big BAR events. I see them at CMI most of the time. K20A are becoming dime a dozen around the bay.

But back to the topic, K20A is still a great motor to start with.

It's probably going to save you more money to do it at once rather than doing it seperately as the shiftlinkages an tranny are extra necessities you will dump later on for the K stuff.
