So I think this is my 1st post in "Gamers Haven", obviously I'm not a big on video games.
I want to buy a wii for my kids this Christmas, I was probably going to buy a package deal from Costco, has an extra controller and comes with a couple of games (I think). Costco sells this for $400ish.

Anyone have any purchasing tips?

Thanks in advance.

id say buy it from a gamestop IN PERSON and the easiest way to do that is go in everyday (assuming they dont have any in stock) and find out if they recieved any in their daily shipment... that and you can buy what you need with out getting stuff you wont...

thats what i did and i got one with a week of its launch...

hmmm. Does gamestop have package deals? Saw some online, but didn't sound like you were guaranteed to get it if orderd.

i dont think it does but it does have (usually) everything you need for the system... i just dont trust many online sites when i know i can find it with alittle leg work...

costco should have them stocked in a week, each store should have about 48ish. They are lowering their bundle to $350, I'm going to try to nab one.
Anyone know of a better deal at all?

Circuit City FTL. We never seem to get any in lol and they're gone before we can put them on the sales floor.
