what is the difference between short throw shifter and short shifter both are skunk2.

same thing, different names... they shorten the "throw" of the shifter.

id say the single bend shifter would be the short shifter
and the dual bend the short throw shifter sine the angles tighten it up.

u could always use a del sol stock shifter since its shorter than a civic's

You could also get the short throw shifter wich is what you shift with your hand and get shorter shift linkages wich would make it tighter

Same thing, different names.... The dual bend is a direct replacement for a dual bend integra shifter and the single bend for a civic shifter, but they are interchangeable with each other. So its personal preference. The dual bend will put the knob back a little closer to the driver.
