View Full Version : I Am Legend
Wow. I thought this was a pretty good movie. It kept me "on the edge of my seat"...not literally but throughout the movie I was eager to see what was going to happen next.
But, I don't think the final product was fully checked over for any holes in the story. The issues I have with the film, were it didn't seem to show a few things that I was a little nit-picky about (but then again, maybe I missed them). Such as how does Will Smith get clean water, if he is the only one left...there has to be someone at a water treatment plant. Another is about the electricity and gasoline he uses...how does he get this and who is supplying it?
All in all, I enjoyed it. Good entertainment, excellent special effects, a couple sad parts with a positive ending.
I also liked it a lot better than any previous zombie-like, end of human civilization/apocalyptic style movie.

I honestly didn't like this movie. There wasn't much reasoning for anything. Okay the "zombie" people are infected but they are all of the sudden fast as hell, can climb walls and can beat their heads against anything without at least getting knocked out. I kept waiting for the story to develop more and it didn't. The only reason I saw it was because Will Smith is awesome but, other than that....it was weak.
liked it saw it last night was not too bad makes you really think about things! I think it could of been better but it was good

I think for the water, he may have a fresh water tank on top of the apartment... that would provide water pressure, Or maybe it was well water, and the pumps were run by his generators.

Ooops, yeah now I remember those scenes. Mike, for the water, I guess that could be a possibility.
Either way, he had a craaaaaaaaazy set up to live like he did, but then again if you wanted to survive in those circumstances you would have to.

Allright movie, but towards the end it seemed kinda rushed. I do like the little bit in the end about the village in VT.
New England saves the world! NE FTW!

j/k but overall i liked it, there was a few things i picked at. I didn't like the ending very much i would have liked to have more closure but i guess it's open for interpretation which is cool.
i recommend seeing it and probablly buying it just to own it.

It's the third time they made this movie. Vincent Price did the first and Charlton Heston did the second. This is the most accurate to the book. I saw it and was verry pleased. Don't think this is a Ammagedon or Independence day movie. It's one that is suspensful and makes you think.
