Hey Ive been wanting to change my instrument panel and Gauge lights for a long time, ive replaced them before with #24 and #74 Bulbs, Im looking for LED ones this time

#74 are very small bulbs

#24 are bigger but in between #194 bulbs

Anyone change there vluster using these bulbs or know where to get them

ive found these sites but they either have 1 bulb and not the other or both but not in LED.

Also Ive seen someone on this forum wth a blue cluster and i think he said he changed his to LED, anyone know him or can find out for me

I maybe a little late on posting this, but I used the #74 leds from superbrightleds.com for everything. I ordered 8 and changed the ones in the a/c controls too on my ej1. I also got a red piece of plastic to put in front of the clock to make it red. If you do the clock just make sure to cut the red/black wire on the back so it doesn't dim with your lights. They look 10 times better in person, they're red, but look kinda orange in the pics

on the first post i gave instructions on what i did.

But basically u get led lights from http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

what year is ur civic, if its like mine 95 u need to get all #74s about 10 i think, and then i can tell u the rest if u get them, but im too lazy to dig up wat to do

Thanks for the help

the one on the top is what u shud use bc it is the same as the bottom but has the black casing which is alot easier to snap on and off onto the back of ur instrument panel.

I plan to do this mod to my gauges, myself. Gonna order them off superbrightleds.com. The thing is i'm from Canada, so i'm gonna have to pay $25 minimum. I only need 7 of them >_<. Well, i'm still deciding if i wanna do it green blue, or red. So far the pic for the blues are so nice. But I'm curious how red and green would look.

im from canada too - toronto, and i purchased a set of red n blue n 1 of each other color, if i could do it again i would def go green, it doesnt match my interior or red car but it looks wicked. blue red n green i wud get a full set of each

Do you wanna sell me a set of your red? I wanna see how it turns out. I will probably end up with green or blue though.

Do the #74 bulbs give off hot spots? Are they ugly or do they look fine?

One of the other sites sell them in 24. Do you think its needed or will i be fine with 74?

oh kewl i didnt know they had them in that size well if its the same ones in ours 92-95 i think it should be good, the only prob is fitment, but i guess it should be okay, umm there are hotspots but its not that bad, in the dark or at night it just looks wicked the colors and its nice and vibrant. my advice is to go ahead and do it

i would assume with a reverse glow gauge u need special type of lighting harness or something i dont know otherwise if its the same as our clusters it should be the same procedure
