Honda lug nuts

Is it me or do these lug nuts rust easily? When I got the car they were horribly rusted. But this time last year I replaced them for OEM ones and they are starting to rust on the corners

i think it s cause they are dipped and when using tools on them all the time it strips it off and they start too rust imo

i have oem chromes still in the car and they look minty fresh... now the blue ones i have from my old rims... all the blueing is coming off and they look like crap...rust on the corners the lugs kinda chewed up looking... but who knows i may have new wheels on the way again

Mine just the corners are rusted but i live in rust prone Indiana so thats a given. I dunno though for mine being 15 years old they aren't TOO bad.

if you dont like rust put your lug nuts in vinigar for a while... fish them out rinse them off bam no more rust!!!

no more rust until they get wet again at least and not dried off lol

yeah but you gotta at least clear them after that or they will just rust again.
