hey guys, many of you kno me and if not im Bill, iv been around for a long time on JDMC and of course JDMCC since the begining. I picked up my 95 Civic ex in spring of 2001 for $6500...and lets just say that PASSION is PRICELESS.


here she is, milano red, the day i brought her home with 65k miles on her :japanflag:


then i added some tint rims(shown in next pic) greddy evo exhaust
( will scan a pic when i get home in may, but looked like a bmw)

then i got it painted blue at some shaddy place- si blue with my ricer wing and front bumper cause the buddy club side and rear didnt fit, got a crack in front bkit from a guy backing into me...got $500 outta the deal..lol


ahhh yes...here is the lil SOHC lol


so i decide to take the wing and bkit off, borrowed my bros extra rims til i found new ones...


then one winter, my dad parked his truck at end of driveway and plow was like a foot into driveway, i back up without lookin and .... but after this i took those nasty ass taillights out and got it fixed asap


i got some amber corners, went to local chill spot, a guy gunned it in reverse with a lifted F350 and a trailer hitch, radiator support bent in and they totaled my car ..bought it back for $350 and got $4300 from insurance..o0o and it still ran :)


so i picked NSX sebring silver, got VIS carbon fiber hood, new oem parts to fix the rest, suspension and some jdm parts

sanded down at my dads friends shop


getting repainted


i freakin bring it home after being gone for 2-3months...and an ass breaks my passanger window


but here she is, looks kinda weird with no black moldings or no lip or ne thing


o0o i went thru a what was i thinkin phase ..got a 93 240sx for 600...sat in driveway for 2months..sold it for 400

its got Sprint springs and aftermarket intake
body has 190k miles and motor has about 60k miles from Honda

im only going to put a N1 style exhaust, the header was cracked, so aftermarket also... nothing fancy or expensive...its just a beater
i will still be spending my $ on the silver EJ1 and making it a hardcore Circuit track car...so stay tune

Origianly it had gay cf tails on, but i made a few phone calls and in under a half hour i had someone trade stock tails:

You can't really tell in this pic, but the passenger side headlight is brand new and drivers side is extremely foggy/faded/moldy:


Upon further inspection, we found that the cylinder 1 exhaust manifold runner was cracked clear through, thank god bills bro had an ek hatch 2 years ago with a type r swap and he saved the sohc exhaust manifold, we're gonna wrap that up tomorrow. I guess he also forgot to mention the clutch problem. It grabs, but theres no pressure, the pedal is really sluggish. I guess that would just be as simple as bleeding the clutch line? We need some input on that.

nice susp setup, but you should be able to slide it back over, and put the clamp back on and tighten it up if its gone. I just replaced both of mine.

iv been meaning to buy a new motor mount for the ac bracket, i did a while ago but lazy me i procrastinate, and iv never had that mount on since i had the B16 ...2yrs now...lol, but now i lost that ac bracket and have the mount

power folding mirrors STILL DONT WORK....obv i suck at wiring, i had them going like 2yrs ago for the summer....then the way i have it i think the wiring is touching metal somewhere....would be cool if i can get it working but ill sell them

and on top of all that, i want to get it ready for circuit racing next year...slap in a roll cage and ect

and dunno about the reving yet...i only ended up taking the oem lip off and was about to put spoon lip on but decided to wait til after winter on that 2....

while the bumper was off, i noticed that the radiator support i got from that Majestic Honda.com place isnt the greatest and looks like there welds are starting to rust

so maybe i should find a rhd clip and hope that radiator support is better

As for the reving, id guess it would be the IACV being slightly faulty, we should be on the lookout for a new one. Dont give up on the Ej1, its too f**king JDM to give up on!

Take the iac off and clean it. And yeah, you should put the spoon n1 on the red coop with the slips for now. The boot for the rack is at my house, come get it, and hans probably has a b series ac mount lyin around.

and for the steering rack problem, im taking the boot off 2morrow and if its rusty.....well then instead of a new steering rack that costs like $500 installed or an integra steering rack like i said in the other post

heres what i was thinking of doing, i would just buy a RHD CLIP from Hmotorsonline for $700 shipped i think? and take that steering rack and just convert my car to RHD while im at it.....rofl , ya ya sounds intense but whatever, and since i dont have a garage....i was thinking of renting one of those storage places and buying the clip now and storing it in there til spring, depending how much it costs......

lots of things i have to find out and lots of work ahead of me, but i think the finished product will be awesome

ps. watching all those jdm insider dvds and best motoring, it feels un-natural to sit on left side of the car....so from now on i only want to drive RHD cars...even if it means converting it myself or "right off the boat and into my arms"

Amazingly, the cracks to the lip were the only damage, considering how bad bill went into that giant-ass pothole. With a crack that loud, i expected a bumper to be falling off, or at least break the lip off in two or more pieces.

my front LCA broke, the car has been sitting for, o0o i would guess a month
1.5 weeks ago i order omni power front LCAs and 3day shipping and they dont understand the concept of 3 day shipping, ill have them tomorrow

also my driver side motor mount was finally shot, it came used when i got my swap yrs ago from HMO...so i replaced the 2 main motor mounts with Hasport ones and also decided to put the AC bracket and mount on

i also got a new Snell approved Helmet

ill take pics tomorrow of everything after i install the F lcas

PS. missed so many meets and autox events cause of car outta service, been kinda bummed my cars been broke for this long
