JENSEN VM9311 DVD player

In May of last year I purchased an Jensen vm9311 in-dash dvd player slightly used from someone for $150. This is the first Jensen product i've owned and will be the last. I've always had problems with this dvd player reading discs if it gets even remotely warm. I can start up my car with a new disc in and it will read it and play it. When I go to insert another disc(even if it is brand new) it either says no disc or bad disc. It's done this since i've owned it and it was only about 3 weeks old when I got it. Since about a month ago, it has had problems ejecting discs. I will get in my car, the disc will play, when i go to take the disc out, it will say eject and wont eject the disc. It will then keep trying to load the disc, and then eject it again. Then I turn the car off, then back on, the screen still reads eject and the disc will not come out. If i some how get the disc to come out and try to put another one in, the disc wont go in half of the time. This DVD player wont read discs even if they have small scratches. Never has.

I had a friend that bought the same one and pretty much all of the same stuff happened to him.

I would never recommend buying this piece of junk. Or anything from Jensen.
