ok did a google search and still cant find out info on some accord seats!

ok so last night i had the briliant idea of trying to find some seats sence mine in my civic have a nice dent in the padding so bad i can feel the metal rail and there is a nice matching upper padding dent on the top both from getting in and out all the time... so i was awakened with an awesome idea... if i could find some 03 accord EXL coupe seats from like a v6 6spd, jsut in case they wil bolt in with minor modification, for the slider, and if iremember the coupe got a slightley diffrent seat or maybe i'm confusing the CL seats???.... or heck even a set of leather seats from a sedan senc they are comfortable and i like how comfortable they are... now for my other question... all leather models from 03-now in the accord have heated seats... anyone know what all i would need to even be able to wire up the seat heaters, is it in the seat or is there some other crap in like the dash i would need for them??? anyone know??? sence they would be diffrent then S2K, Rsx, EP3 seats

Those seats are gonna be huge and if they do fit are gonna be really high in your car. If you can pull it off though, more power to ya!

Sounds like way too much work than it's worth. I will agree the Accord seats are nice and comfy. But I can't see them going in to an older civic chassis without considerable modifications. You're way better off sticking with seats from the same generation of cars. 94-01 integra/92-00 civic seats will bolt in with little modification, you'll only need to swap the rails.

Yeah well I do love accords, but I'm a big guy so I want nice comfortable seats and if they so happen to be heated awesome... And I guess I should just go find some seats and un bolt the passenger side and start a mock up... Then who knows... But I'd love to pull up with accord seats in my car and have my friends say what are those from

no casue i really hate the looks of the old coupes, and the new v6 motor has the exhaust manifold built in to the head... and i figured sence i grew up with old hotrod guys and v8s why not try something diffrent, and if they dont work then i'm going to just have some awesome seats that i can keep in the garage...

and its not that i love accords that much, i just want to swap in a 2.4 from an accord, element or CR-v becasue i can find the motors fairly cheep, and i know there is power hidden in them becasue my accord had a fujitia intake, a header and 2.5in all the way back and it moved for a auto DD... so why not??

true, what magazine, got ahold of an auto RSX base, and put on like a DC sports exhaust and header, and the intake i dont remember and picked up like 30 horse on the dyno...


but back to the subject after reading a write up on putting S2000 seats in a civic i think i might try a mock up of accord seats, and see if they really are just to big... so off to the junk yard sometime for some LX seats i guess for mock up... sence the drivers side has that ajuster lever... maybe later learn to wire up the leathers and have a power seat, and seat heaters... but eh who knows
