i am 99 percent sure nobody here has put a widebody on a civic.. its not our steelo... IMO widebody for a civic is useless....

fender flares with greater offset rims ive seen used to powerslide setups and they look awful imo...to square and bulky

like Luis said, it just doesn't fit the style. good people than run widebodies and pulled/flared fenders ALSO run the appropriate size/offset of wheels. these wheels are usually in the 9,10,11,12" wide range. its just not something you would do on a civic. not to mention all of that bodywork and custom offset wheels cost a lot of money, which is why you see it on more expensive cars like BMW, Audi, VW, etc. people that buy those cars have more money in general than people driving Civics.

and to me, the only way widebody or flared fenders can look good is if the bodywork looks natural and you actually use wider wheels. basic fiberglasss fender flares and the like just don't cut it IMO.

Useless the bodykit is specially made to make the car more aerodynamic and I think C-West is like the only only company that does this, your putting more weight on your car and creating more drag on your ride. Its not smart to get a widebody unless it conforms to your ride and those are usually very expensive.

there was a guy around my area who has a complete widebody kit on his civic, he had it for a while but i guess he decided to take it off, last time i saw it, kit was taken off and it was sanded down back to the original body.

Kris, I will say that a Wide body kit will look good on certain cars let say like a 350z or a Silvia. but on a civic It looks way off and not really appealing RJ DeVera had a feels wide body kit on his Ek and it just looked so damn wierd looked like a matchbox car. It did not make the car any faster it did not stop it any better and did not make it handle better.

If I am going to do something to my car First I would make sure it meets all those requirements and stops the car better makes it faster or makes it handle better after those are goals are met then maybe I will try and make it look better but never with a body kit.

i think some Touring style shit could be done cool.. ya know, buy some OE fender liners, rivet them to the fenders, and get some 24" wide wheels.. w00t!

yea i thought nobody was doing that, i agree that those 350z's look very slick with the widebody kits and the rims and tires to match. i guess thats why the pics are so small when you try to view the picture of the widebody kit on the civic. lol. thanks for the input though guys. -kris :TU:

Don't do widebody man, its just make the car have more wind resistance, slowing you even further more

get an exhaust or sumtin better

eventualy u will hate the wide body if u get it...... its more surface area for rocks to hit and chip the paint... and believe it will happen

that body kit doesnt look too bad, wouldnt mind rolling in a civic with that wide body kit if only i had 10 grand to spare on worthless body work...but if i had that money it would be a show car, nothing more...

yea i guess all the misc. stuff that flys up from the road would be chipping it, since this post i saw a couple on the street, they dont look right when the rims dont fit with the body..... -kris

one day i was going down the road and i saw this primered 89 CRX, had to eb extended 8-10'' on each side...had huge vents and looked like a hotwheel, only lifesize and made in a 12x6 shed....(most likely by the looks of it, nothing looked even...)
