I'm selling a brand new, never used QTP 2.5" Electric Cut out. I fixed my other one so i have no need for this. comes with Valve,wire,switch. its a great way to free up power when needed.

What is this used for, if i may ask? Simply to shut the exhaust up to near stock quietness with the flick of a switch?

they are used mainly on turbo cars. Theres a Y pipe attached to the down pipe one goes to the exhaust and the other the Ecut is attached to and with a flip of a switch it will make it an Open DownPipe

an open downpipe on a turbo car actually doesnt loose hp, it gains it, i have worked with many many turbo cars there is a little loss in low end power but the power is made back in the upper rpms when the turbo is fully spooled. Thats why most drag cars run an open downpipe because of the power gains

Unless you're running high hp setup it's not gunna do much for you. Maye 1-2 mph in your trap speed but thats about it.

it is a noticeable difference though in power ratings, on my talon running an open 3 in downpipe at 22 psi of boost i saw 320awhp, with a full 3 in exhaust i at the same boost level i saw 305 awhp. So there is a significant difference in power. but either way great product and i wont clutter up the thread anymore
