looks like you've put a good project together so far. i'd suggest to invest in a tripod though. that'll help take care of the blurriness in your pictures.

Thanks for all the comments. In about 2 or the months the car will be in the body shop getting the body straightened and painted then I will install the fog lights.

Thanks. I know this is going to sound stupid but, do you guys think I should swap in a B16B or just build up the SOHC?

B16B would be the shiet.. its a big debate between DOHC and SOHC.. you ask me DOHC hands down... you ask Mel... aka ej1freak.. SOHC owns.. so its really what you want in the long run... nice ride though... any chances of seeing some pics of the HID beams agiants a wall err something..?..

I think the B16B will go in after all the other things I have planned are done. My HIDs now are ghetto rigged, so I need to find adaptors. After that, then I will take some pics of the HIDs against a wall. I know that they exist, but does anyone know where to get them?

The lip is messed up. That will be fixed when the car goes for paint.

All you pretty much need to do is splice the wires and tape them together. Or at least that's what I did.

Thanks to the asshole who stole my headunit I now have an OEM Honda block off plate in it's place and at the same time I also bought an OEM antenna block off plate. When I get a new headunit it's going to be relocated to the bottom on top of cupholders. What do you guys think about Alpine headunits?

Here's a pic of the coupe from about 2 weeks ago. I got steelies in front because one tire popped first then the other one. Will put on 4 brand new tires as soon as I get some funds.

My driver side tails are OEM, the ones on the passenger side are not. The grill is carbon fiber which I will soon be replacing with an OEM Si grill.

Since I haven't updated my build thread for almost 2 months I'm posting up some small updates.

These are tires that I ordered from Discount Tire Direct for (205/50R15) $55 each and best of all, free shipping. I ordered 2 for the front which will be mounted tomorrow.

These two are just random pics of my EJ8.



This 4-door is my aunt's 2000 Civic. It's all stock except for the rims. It has 28,500 original miles on stock motor/body.

i think you need to paint the trim around your grill. to me it looks really strange being all black. just sticks out to much IMO.

maybe some new mirrors? what are your future plans for the car?

Yeah, the grill is carbon fiber and I'm going to paint it myself soon. The next thing I want to do is get the JDM thin side moldings because the stock ones are breaking off. After that hopefully by the end of this year i'll get a b16 or b18 in there. Which one do you guys recommend?

^^I'm just going to resurface the stock flywheel. Other than that I bought the whole kit pressure plate, throwout bearing etc.

Definately dig the car, thin moldings will look good (thinking about picking up some for myself down the line). I definately dig the Alpine 9856, since i've got the same one lol.

As for what to do, i would swap out the mirrors for some Type R's or Vision/Spoon and i would try to get a B18 personally if i was getting a B series.

^^Yeah I'm thinking about replacing my mirrors because the drivers side is kinda loose (I guess a clip broke) . Does anyone of any good looking power mirrors that look good and won't break the bank?

I finally have some updates again. Due to lack of funds its nothing big. I jus replaced my messed up side moldings and got some JDM thin side moldings and 5% tint all around. Here are some random pics, enjoy!

I got the wheels from some local guy that had them on his EG hatch. Got them for $180 w/ tires.

I didn't get tints only for looks but because of 2 other reasons. I don't want people to have a good look inside my car (privacy) and because it reduces temperatures inside the car significantly on a very sunny day.

Well after 2 months, I finally have another update. I got JDM power folding mirrors. I got them pretty cheap from someone on ClubEK.net and I'll probably install them this coming week.

That's the next thing I'm going to do. I'm going to get OEM Honda front and rear bumpers because they both have some damage.

Naw, I don't have tint on the windshield at all. I have to replace it because it has a big crack. It had a confrontation with a rock on the highway.

I got an update after a month. The EJ8 is sold and another coupe has replaced it. No not another Civic, but a 2004 Accord w/ a K24. It is NBP w/ black interior. I will post pics tomorrow.

P.S. - Can I still be in the coupe council even though I got an Accord coupe?
