Ok everyone I want this shift light in my car... I dont need a RICEY big tach to go with this because i got the factory tachometer in car, you know... but I just want to know how to hook this up and how to set it to shift at the RPM i want..... I actually want it to light up when Vtec hits, even though I know and can feel/hear it hit but i like this for some reason.... I seen on youtube.com someone was able to take this shift lite and flash on/off when vtec hits and when time to shift it stays bold, to me that is SICK!!! but anyone can help me out and know how to do this, please lemme know in GOOD details.... thank you~!!:japanflag:

Well to have it light up with vtec just like any other light (i.e. a little LED) I've seen people splice it into the green/yellow wire going to the solenoid. But making it bold I don't know, some kind of switch?

x2, just splice into the VTEC solonoid wire, and then ground it ( the LED) and have it be in the dash somewhere.

No but you are adding another load to the circuit but it shouldn't harm anything
ps. I Jeff P. aint liable if you mess up your car.

Thats the way I did it and it works great...:TU:

Just make sure you wire it parallel to the vtec circuit and not in series(in-line) with it. That shift light uses a bulb, not an led, and the voltage drop across it will be kinda huge, maybe not leaving enough to kick the solenoid.
