Hello I just got rid of** my EJ1 for a 97 dx coupe. I tossed my SI wheels on it and its not slammed like my other car so I think it looks stupid. I want to lower it a half inch to an inch but I love the stock ride quality. What the best way to lower it a half inch to an inch without sacraficing my ride quality like I did with my EJ1? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

**well it's actually still sitting in the yard.. I think the main berring on crankshaft is gone anyone want it b/o?

I think some Tein S.tech springs might work for you. They're not a very aggressive drop and have relatively soft spring rates.

Also PM'd about the EJ1.

Like Volume 8 said, some tein springs would lower the car and keep the relative ride comfort there.

If you want comfort man, do what im doing. Tokico blues with Ground controls. Soft ride even tucking rubbers.

Can I put those TEIN springs on my stock shocks? Or is it better to get some new ones for a smoother ride?

You can rock it no problem, but don't be surprised if your not satisfied.

eibachs and tien stechs will give about about a 1"-1.5" drop, just enough to not make you look like your driving a monster but they wont sacrifice any clearances you need for daily driving.

but...you could always be old school and cut a coil off, kind of ghetto but it keeps the stock spring rates and rides extremely smooth as long you dont cut the spring in half and ride dumped

Hmm both good options. I think I would screw it up if I was to cut a coil lol.

i had some tein-S springs on an Integra i had.... felt smooth and good... but it said it lowers the car like 1.5" and when i put them on, it actually lowered the car like 2.25"

but looked good........
