Problem with factory radio.

I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX. When I first got the car someone had wired in a kenwood cd player without buying the plug in attachments for the wiring harness. the factory radio is still wired in also and stuffed behind the cupholders. When I unplug the factory radio the power door locks and sound will not work on my current head unit. How do I go about fixing this and making everything right so that I can illiminate the factory radio?

Nevermind, I figured out the answer to my question, please delete this thread.

you have to remove the factory face plate from the radio and tuck the radio down behind the cup holders
