I know what most of your reactions are going to be...since the majority of guys here don't want to see other guys making out etc! lol My roommmate and I had to rent it because we had been hearing so much about the movie not to mention it was nominated for a ton of awards...so we just had to see what all the fuss was about!

I personally did not like the movie...it was really slow esp in the beginning! One of the things that just bugged me the entire movie was Heath Ledgers accent...in my opinion it was awful!

On to the "love scenes" now those were even worse...haha!!!! They just looked like they were attacking each other...wasn't sure if I should be scared or not! haha

Overall I guess it had a good storyline....but the movie itself :TD:

Did anyone else see it?

i saw BM earlier this year with my wife and i thought it was really good. IMO the storyline was very well written and gave the viewers a good idea what it might have been like to be gay in that time period with that kind of lifestyle. the ending really got to me though. its sad to realize that some people have so much hate in them that they would beat a person to death because they had a different lifestyle.

i thought the movie did a great job in bringing about more awareness about what kinds of things people like that have had to go through just to live their lives how they want.

i thought Heath Ledger and Jake Gillihan did an awesome job with their roles as well.

no just choose not to... most people think that a guy wearing pink is gay.... but i rock pink and im not gay... shiet im engaged... im secure about my sexuality..... you must have not read the post i made about me painting my car pink rocking pink PUMA SPEEDCATS and a pink helmet to piss people off...

my wife wanted to see it...and quite frankly it was a damn good movie..just overpass the gay thoughts out and see it as a story about 2 people confused about the way society wants them to be and what resorts to them confining everything inside and in the end it all tears them apart..i give it 2:TU:

i agree with you man. my wife and i saw it together in the theater. we both thought that the kissing and love scenes would be awkward, but honestly after the first 20 minutes it didn't even phase me.

all of these people that have to make bad comments and remarks about gay people and shit are just immature in my opinion. gay people aren't doing anything that harms/bothers me. i think they ought to be able to live however they want just like i'm allowed to.

i think the movie was really good. :TU: :TU:

i just can't bring myself to see the movie.. it's just... totally not my thing. way too serious, ya know? even in my romance movies, i like some humor.. 50 first dates style..

Well Dina and I rent movies alot and we rented some today and I saw it and Dina was like na its a gay movie there is a thread about it on the site and I was like um ok lets leave that there then, Um I am ok with the whole gay scene but I know Dina would not watch it with me and I would not like to see it with out him. So no we are not gonna see it!
