Wheel choosin

Allright, i got a 1996 civic ex coupe and im rolling on these bad boys right now.


I wana get some new rims, but they have to look pretty stockish, cause I don't want too much attention. I would also want them to be solid wheels, probably 15 inchers on which I can put good rubber on. ANy suggestions?

well if it isnt the ex hub caps it aint stock...u mean something more subtle..get a set of enkie rpo1 if u cna get ur hands on them since they are discontinued...if not opt for rpo2

Yeah I want something subtle. I was thinkin maybe the 7th gen ex rims or the ep3 rims. Or just the 15 inch 7th gen steelies and hubcaps, but aren't steelies pretty damn heavy?

Aside from ebay and forums, where else can I get OEM rims. I was thinkin of junkyards, but duno if I can find oem rims there...

Yeah those are really nice too. ALl the oem rims would fit my car perfectly right? Sizewise, and offset wise?

they are 15x6 with a +22 offset i believe...
so yes perfect

since u live in the bay have u tried craigslist.com .....i always look on there and find blades, fat fives, sun flowers, and si rims all the time with tires for resonable prices also

Yah, I actually got my car off craigslist. I duno, but usually people want way too much for the rims.

ya thats the only bad thing......u gotta wait for a while until u can find the right deal.....i mean just the other i found some guy selling mint condition 97 black gsr cloths seats for $180....when everyone else was selling them for like $300 at the least.....could'nt pass that deal up at all and got them that day.....just gotta wait i guess until a good deal comes along on there

Cosmetically it's all opinion, make that choice yourself. I'd go with the lightest wheel that you can afford. I bought my Volk ce28s (14x5.5) off a fellow autcrosser for 500shipped, almost new. Try hitting up autocross classifieds, you can find really good deals there.

Yeah LS meshies would look pretty nicely, but im thinkin ep3 rims would look even nicer...and nobody really has em
