5th gear problems....

ok everything works great, but sometimes in 5th gear it would just kick itself out of gear... what could that be??? only does in that gear and no others.... also does not grind or make noises and not hard to get into gear.... if i shift 4th to 5th goes in but then while driving it pops out and then i have to push in clutch to put back in fifth,..... i just hold it in but still wants to fall out...

Bad engine mounts can cause that too, really hope it isn't the tranny. Did you and Dina remember to put fluid in it after you got it running??

Worst case scenario.... Your Input shaft bearing is taking a poo on you.

What we hope it is : Floppy motor mounts kicking it out, or low fluid level.

i think low fluid because we forgot it, i am on the way to buy some and put it in... i mean it had some in it to lube gears and not mess with them... but we realized we forgot.... that should be the problem then.... like i said on way to get fluid now to add and i will let you know later after test drive

see also so far 3 of you said low fluid and it is like that... and the motor mounts were pretty new also... i keep updated
