I was looking at one of my issues of super street and at the back there was a yellow eg featured and he had a gauge cluster out of a dc. has anyone tried this or know if it just plugs in or what?

To get the DC cluster in your EG dash, you'll need the pigtails from the DC cluster so that you can either splice the wires or de-pin your stock pigtail and re-pin the DC cluster.
So, it's just a little bit or rewiring involved, oh, ans a little finesse to get the DC cluster situated properly. I'll look for the pin diagrams for converting EG to DC.
