Well I'm from L.A. and have had my car for a little over a year. Its my first honda and I fell in love with it. Here are some of the specs:
-1994 civic ex
-4 wheel disc brakes and ABS
-factory foglights
JDM parts:
-Stanley corners
-jdm tail lights
working on getting the cluster, H.O.P. center console and arm rest, seats (front and back), JDM under the hood plate (I think ours are red)
engine:
-gsr head
-stock porting
-skunk2 valve springs
-hondata intake mani gasket
-skunk2 manifold (recently installed)
-STOCK HEADERS
-B20 block
-b20 block guard
-type R oil pump
-Earl's lsvtec oil line
-b16 trany
-Action Clutch
-6 puck solid, bolts (no rivots!)
-heavy duty, dual diaphram pressure plate
Previous dyno pushed 182hp (i think), dont remember torque. On a .52 shot of nitrous it pushed a 240 hp, 200 tq
Future plans:
-HEADERS (maybe smsp's or JG's or some jdm type R's)
-Injectors
-Fuel rail
-Wet single fogger setup
-Ground controls w/ Konig Yellows
-PAINT!!!
Trying to get all this done by the end of the year, hopefully it goes smoothly!

hey what are you running on pistons?... cause thats a pretty high number for a stock b20 vtec..... i've raced b20vtecs before and there is NO way they made that much HP... and they ran with a type r head milled down with a b16 trans....im not sayin ur BS but just want to know if you got stock b20 pistons?
socaly4life
04-28-2006, 09:17 PM

Heres some pictures of my car at the local 1/8 mile track.
:hoppingmad: TOO BAD I BROKE MY TRANNY ON MY FIRST PASS OUT OF THE HOLE!!!!!!!!:hoppingmad:
So now I'm looking into buying another tranny, my car wont be running for a while. Looking in the get a JDM R tranny or any b series and buy an aftermarket diff and final drive.

Well, its been a while since I've posted but I got a couple of things done to my coupe. I got a fresh b16 tranny with new clutch while I was at it. New axles and wheel bearings. I also got the JG Edelbrock headers and Erick's Racing Throttle body (not in picture).
After that I wanted this thing to handle a bit better, so I went with Ground Contols with Konig Yellos after all. Trust me, I dont regret going on this setup. The adjustable soft ride is great on the freeway and the firm setting was awesome at the track.
At the local 1/8 of a mile track, it took me from a E.T. of 8.57 to a 8.40 by doing a quick adjustment. This was all motor on slicks. On the Suspension techs with stock struts. it did a 8.7.
Another upgrade was finally some wheels! I know the rims are kinda too flashy on my car, but hey, I likes. Plus the ride quality is much better.
So those are the upgrades to my car so far. Its going pretty well and I hope to have it painted in a couple of months. Thanks and bump of ya read!

I actually am, the thing acclerates and handles pretty great, now I just need to be able to stop the thing! The car came with abs but still the brakes get very hot after a couple of canyon turns. Whats a good setup to go with but without breaking the bank????

Yeah, sorry I haven't updated, just been busy working. Well I ended up selling the gsr tranny and bought a b16. I'm having ProStreet but in a quaife Diff as well as all new syncros and new counter shaft and gear selector. Also installed new brembo rotor all around with the AEM pads. Heres a recent one when my gear selector broke!!! The magnet on the side is my "Support Strippers" ribbon!!!
