So I ordered those Type R Style seats from jdmcarboy.com (I realize that there are a couple stupid things wrong with this statement; one being "Type R Style" and once being "jdmcarboy.com", but I'm new to hondas in general and didn't know any better about the site, and the seats were cheap so I decided I wanted to try them...) on my birthday, August 25th. It was quite an ordeal to complete the order, as the checking out service seemed to do everything as normal, but when returning to the jdmcarboy site, it timed out, and then jdmcarboy had no record of the transaction on the site, I signed in, and there was no record of my order, I searched the order number and there was no record of that...
I figured that the site just sucked and that I should order from some other more credible site. Then I received an email from the checking out service that gave me a receipt for the order. Jdmcarboy did respond to my email and told me that my order was valid. They emailed me with such promptness that I figured that there would me no more problems... No, I was wrong.
The actual seats were delivered with reasonable quickness, but the brackets did not come with them. I never received a shipping confirmation, but I sent an email asking about when the brackets would come, and all they told me was that they would ship separately. Weeks went by, and I didn't receive a shipping confirmation or email, so I emailed jdmcarboy a few more times and was finally told that the brackets were on back order, but that a shipment had just arrived and that they would have the brackets in stock the next day. No brackets came. That was like a month ago. I've emailed with no reply, I've called with their voice mail being full or broken, I've faxed, and I've snail mailed... Nothing...
So I ordered the brackets from another site, and hopefully I can cancel the rest of my order from jdmcarboy, or return them if they someday do come, or just cut my losses...
Basically, they've lost a customer, and I wish someone had warned me before ordering. If somehow they do get better, It would be good to know, but otherwise don't use them.
