Doing my first engine swap here in my 97 coupe. Going from the d16 to a boosted b16. Got the engine out a couple weeks ago and sold it already with the ecu. With that being said.... Is it ok to removing all the wiring that goes through the firewall and into the ecu?? I wanna work in the engine bay before the b16 goes in but i have all those wires in there. Since the new engine is coming with the new harness i was wondering what wires i can take out. Thanks!

All that stuff should have come out with the engine, unless you disconnected the harness from the engine before you removed it. There should be a plate with 2 nuts holding it to the firewall, unbolt that and disconnect the plugs from the ECU and the harness will pull right out.
