Ok I've read about the pros and cons on the two types of carbon fiber. I would like to see some pictures of the two. Does anyone on here have PasswordJDM's dry carbon parts? I'm interested in getting the dry carbon spark plug cover and possibly the dry carbon cooling plate. Just would like to see the product first. I can't really tell anything about it from Password's website. Thanks

It's just made differently. Dry carbon fiber is made by pulling the resin through the fabric with a type of vacuum mold, then it's baked to cure it. I think wet CF is kinda like fiberglass, the fabric is laid out and the resin is spread onto it. Dry carbon is supposed to be harder and more durable, it looks cool too.

^^werd. I am sure you have seen both but maybe never realized it. Wet is like most hoods with the thick resin top and high gloss. Dry is pretty much the thickness of the fiber...pretty much thick enough to pull the resin through and create the solid strength and no gloss. Dry is usually what you see for the DIN block off plates. When it comes to what one to buy it really will come down to do you want the parts to be high gloss or straight carbon looking.
